  • 2 Skirmish Mission Cards (Coruscant Landfill)

Component Limitations

In a campaign, players are limited to the number of Deployment cards included in this expansion. Therefore, the Imperial player is limited to one Bantha Rider, regardless of how many copies of this expansion he owns.

Habitat

Habitat is a keyword found on certain Deployment cards. During a campaign, when the Imperial player is selecting open groups for a mission, he can choose a Deployment card with the Habitat keyword only if there is at least one tile in that mission's map whose type matches the listed Habitat. During a skirmish, Habitat has no effect.

Tile Types

The tile types for the tiles in the core game and those introduced in Twin Shadows are as follows:

  • Forest:
    • Core game tiles 01A-18A, 37A, 38B, and 39A
  • Desert:

Event Summary

  • Round 1: Surrounded
  • Round 3 or barricade destroyed: Snipers
  • First barricade destroyed: Deadly Alliance
  • Captive freed: The Instigator
  • Imperial Officer defeated or all heroes wounded: End of Mission

Mission Briefing

The harsh wind scours the canyons of the Jundland Wastes. Your pilot signals you, "I've got our guy on scanner, but I'm also reading a bunch of Tusken Raiders between you and him. So good luck with that." The harsh bellowing of Tusken Raiders echoes off the rocks as snipers take aim above you.

  • Neutral mission tokens represent barricades. Barricades are blocking terrain. A Rebel figure can attack a barricade (Health: Twice the threat level, Defense: None).
  • The Rebel mission token represents the captive. A Rebel figure can interact with the captive to claim his token. If there is an Imperial figure on or adjacent to the captive, that Rebel figure tests Insight. If he fails, he does not claim the captive.
  • Imperial mission tokens represent snipers. At the end of each Round, until the first barricade is destroyed, the Imperial player claims 1 sniper.
  • The Imperial player claims 1 sniper.
  • The mission will progress when the captive is freed (objective icon). The mission ends when all heroes are wounded.

Surrounded

At the end of Round 1:

  • Deploy the reserved Tusken Raider group.

Snipers

At the end of Round 3 or when the first barricade is destroyed:

  • Until the end of the mission, at the end of each Round, for each sniper in the Imperial player's play area the Imperial player chooses 1 Rebel figure and then rolls 1 blue die. The chosen figure suffers hits equal to the hit results.

Deadly Alliance

When the first barricade is destroyed:

  • Deploy the reserved Imperial Officer to the blue point. Deploy the reserved Bantha Rider to any red point.
  • The blue and red deployment points are now active.

The Instigator

When the captive is freed:

The prisoner extends one shaking hand, pointing at a particular Imperial officer. "Him," he says. "He has the data." You have a new target.

  • Deploy the reserved Imperial Officer to either red point.
  • Apply additional Health to the Imperial Officer equal to three times the threat level.
  • The mission ends when the Imperial Officer is defeated (objective icon).

End of Mission

When the Imperial Officer is defeated:

Running as fast as the heat of the Wastes will allow you, you carry both the rescued operative and the officer's data back to your shuttle, leaving the remaining Imperials to the mercy of the enraged Tuskens.

  • Heroes receive 100 credits per hero.

When all heroes are wounded:

The banthas and snipers bear down on you. The other Tuskens take advantage of your predicament and grab the operative, taking him deeper into the Wastes. As you retreat, you hear him calling for help that won't come.

  • The Imperial player receives the "Tusken Weaponry" Reward card.

Additional Rewards

  • Each player receives 1 XP. Heroes receive 100 credits per hero. The Imperial player receives 1 influence.
