Basics
Two players take turns of 5 shots at a time, trying to land the ball into the hole on the opposite side of the board. First to 5 points wins, but for each point scored, the opponent places a rubber blocker on the board to make future shots harder.
Taking a Turn
The first player places their aiming block so that it is at least partially behind the line on their side of the table. The opposite player removes their aiming block from the table as to not obstruct the active player's shot.
The active player uses the rubber-tipped handle to launch the ping-pong ball by pressing down on it, creating forward momentum with backspin. The goal is to sink the ball into the hole on the opponent's side of the table. The player takes five shots during their turn unless they launch the ball off the far end of the table, which immediately ends their turn. When their turn ends, they remove their aiming block from the table and give the opponent the ball.
Scoring
The active player scores a point if the ball lands in the hole on the opposite side of the table. They score two points if the ball crosses the line on the opponent's end of the table and sinks into the hole. For each point scored, the opponent immediately places a rubber stopper on their side of the board outside of the outlined area around the hole.
If the active player lands a ball in the hole on their own side, their opponent scores a point, and the active player places a blocker on the board.
Winning
The first player to 5 points wins!
