Setup

Each player receives a set of 5 cups in the colors blue, red, green, black, and yellow. Shuffle the command cards and place them as a face-down stack between the players.

How to Play

One of the players turns over the top card of the face-down stack and lays it face up on top of the deck. Note: they must turn the card away from themselves, so that both players see the image on it at virtually the same time.

Both players now try at the same time to reproduce, as quickly as possible, the arrangement in which the colored symbols appear on the card, using their cups. Note: unlike in the base game, the symbols are not only arranged horizontally and vertically, but also in different stacks!

Whoever is finished quickly grabs the face-up card from the middle. The players then check whether the fastest player has arranged their cups correctly. If everything is correct, they may keep that command card. If not, the other player wins the card (it does not matter whether that player had solved the assignment correctly).

Leave the cups unchanged at the end of a round. Turn over the top card of the stack again to begin a new round.

End of the Game

The game is over when all 19 command cards have been won. The player with the most cards wins the game.

Speed Cups² Combined With the Base Game

The rules of the base game apply, but shuffle both sets of command cards together. Up to 6 players can take part.
