Components

Contents: 5 packs of 56 cards.

Rules

Gather 2 to 7 players aged over 10.

1. Deal 5 letters to each player.
2. Place a theme in the centre of the table. Each player looks for an answer (a word or a phrase) that begins with one of their letters.
3. As soon as a player has an idea, they place their letter on the theme and state their answer.
4. The theme changes after 3 answers. The author of the 3rd answer turns their letter over and reads the new theme aloud.
5. The round ends as soon as a player has no letters left.

Scores

Each player scores 1 point for each lightning bolt kept in hand. Example: A + Z = 4 points.

Record the scores, then start a new round.

Points accumulate from round to round.

The game ends as soon as a player exceeds 40 points. The player with the lowest score wins the game!

Clarifications

• Articles do not count! Example: "Le pape" (the pope) is accepted with a P, but not with an L.
• If you do not state your answer immediately after placing your letter, you take your letter back and draw one extra letter.
• If the majority refuses your answer, take your letter back and draw one extra letter.
• The 3 answers to one theme may come from the same person.
• If you have no ideas after one hour, change the theme!
• Speed Bac also exists in a red version = 16 and over.
