Cover Card

This Promo Pack includes three new Experimental Equipment cards and four Special Crystal cards. The Experimental Equipment adds to what the Captain selects from at the start of the game, however she may still only select four cards.

The Special Crystals are shuffled with the standard Crystal cards, and when putting a crystal into play draw a card at random as normal.

Warp Bubble

Blink without inacti[…]ing a Jump Flux c[…]

Timing: DURING Step 8.

Partly hidden in the photograph. The visible fragments are "Blink without inacti" and "ing a Jump Flux c". The words between them are obscured by the neighbouring Chrono Skip card and are not transcribed.

Chrono Skip

Extend any Step by 3 seconds.

Timing: AFTER. The timing marker on the card is a question mark (?), not a numbered step.

The "3" is partly obscured by the neighbouring Nanobots card in the photograph. It reads as "3" but this is not fully legible.

Nanobots

Ignore ongoing effects of Damage Cards at all stations this turn.

Special Crystals

These four cards are shuffled into the standard Crystal deck. Each is drawn at random when a crystal is put into play, as the cover card states.

Stealth Crystal

Two sensor points required to gain lock. Superlock not possible.

The end of the second line is cut off by the Unstable Crystal card in the photograph. The visible text is "Two sensor points required to gain lock" and "Superlock not possib". The final word is read as "possible" from its visible start and is not confirmed.

Unstable Crystal

Explodes when successfully tractored. Range 0: 4 damage Range 1: 2 damage Range 2: 1 damage May be stopped by shields. Affects enemy ships.

Radioactive Crystal

At end of Step 4, if player's ship is in same square take two damage. If adjacent, take 1 damage. May be stopped by shields, does not affect enemies.

The right edge of this card is covered by the Massive Crystal card in the photograph. Parts of the lines "if player's ship", "take 1 damage", and "does not affect enemies" are hidden, so the punctuation and some words in those lines are inferred from the visible fragments and are not confirmed. The wording shown is the most complete reading available.

Massive Crystal
