Preparation of the Game

Each player receives a starting card, a little ship card and a sheep. Place the starting card on your left and set the sheep on the turtle (starting square). Place your ship card to the right of the starting card.

Shuffle the seaside cards face down (that is with the sheep on the top side) and spread them in the center of the table. Return the remaining starting cards, ship cards and sheep to the game box.

Get the die ready.

The seaside cards have a side showing sheep and a side showing rocks.

How to Play

Play in a clockwise direction. The player who can say, "baa" for the longest may start and rolls the die. Turn over a seaside card of the color appearing on the die and place it with the side showing the rocks face up between the starting card and the ship.

Important: Further seaside cards are always inserted to the left of the ship. Each new seaside card will lengthen the distance your sheep has to cover to reach the departing ship.

Then it's the turn of the next player.

The Sheep Gallop over the Rocks

If a color appears on the die of which you already have a seaside card, your sheep can walk over the rocks towards the ship. Count the rocks on the seaside card of the color shown on the die and move your sheep the corresponding number of rocks.

Example: Tom has rolled the red color. He already has a red seaside card. It shows two rocks. So he can move his sheep two rocks towards the ship.

If during your move you reach the ship card, the remaining number of possible moves is forfeited.

End of the Game

The game ends as soon as a player places his sheep onto the ship card thus winning the game. Quickly shout, "Sheep on board!" and set sail together with the other animals.
