The Rules

  1. When your turn starts, draw from the deck until you have five cards in your hand.
  2. Play one card every turn (unless the card says otherwise). Cards can be played on yourself or an opponent. Whoever gets the card gets the points/effects.
  3. Points cards played on you go in your points pile; effects cards (cards without points) go to a discard pile (unless the card says otherwise).
  4. First player with 1000 points in their pile wins (or whoever has the most when the deck is empty and all players have played all their remaining cards).

Notes

  • To win: get to 1000 points. The website's version of the rules states this line directly; the in-box card states the same condition in rule 4.
  • Empty deck (website wording): the website's version says that if the deck runs out of cards, play continues until all hands are empty, and the player with the most points wins. This matches rule 4 on the card.
  • Cards that say otherwise: a card's own instructions override the default rules 2 and 3, as the card text indicates.
  • Blank cards: the box contains two blank cards that players may use to make their own Sopio cards to add to the deck.
  • The companion "Not The Rules" card in the box is joke text and is not part of the rules, so it is not transcribed.
