Collect Slide Deck (Slide tiles, High Speed tiles, Attraction icon tiles and Tunnel-entrance tiles) and shuffle them. Then placed face-down on the table in 2 piles (A & B), so that each player can access them easily.
- Place the Starting tile in the middle of the table.
- Place Attraction tiles, Tunnel-Exit tile and Life guard tiles at the edge of the table if it is possible.
- Place Bonus tokens next to tiles of 3.
- Each player chooses a color and receives the Player card and Game pawn.
- Each player draws 1 tile from the Slide deck.
- The player who visited the theme park most recently becomes a first player.
Objectives
In this game, every player extends his/her water slide by connecting tiles. The player who makes the longest slide will be the winner. But if a player helps others to extend their slide, bonus point will be given.
Game Play
The first player begins the game. On a turn, the player follows below actions.
- Start the turn with drawing 1 tile form the deck.
- Play 1 tile from his/her hand to extend his/her slide.
Extending Slide
The player plays 1 of tiles on his hand. When a player plays a tile, he/she must follow below 2 conditions. These are Golden rules to follow during the whole game.
- a. The player must connect the tile to his/her route to continue his/her slide.
- b. The player cannot play the tile to make a collision against other player or to make returning route to any starting point.
The tile 1 is not allowed to play because Red goes to the starting point of Yellow. The tile 2 is not allowed to play because Blue and Green collide with each other.
After the player plays the tile, the player moves his/her game pawn to the end of the extended slide. If other player's slide is also extended with the tile, that player's pawn also moves to end of his/her slide. In this case, the current player takes 1 bonus token and keep it on his/her character card.
1 - Red player plays a tile and move 1 slide.
2 - Green player plays the tile with red outline. Green moves 2 slides while Purple moves 1 slide. Green player gets 1 bonus token because he makes Purple's movements.
High Speed
If a player plays High Speed tile, he/she should have one more chance. The player draws 1 tile from the deck and play 1 tile from his/her hand again.
High Speed tile can be played only once in a turn. Even though the player uses 2nd High Speed tile in a turn, the 2nd High Speed tile is regarded as a normal slide tile.
Red player plays HighSpeed tile (A) and he plays tile (B) as an additional turn. Then Red moves 7 slides in a turn.
Special Action tiles
Special Action tile: There're 2 kinds of tiles which have special action. Each special tile in the pile has a pair tile among the "pool".
- Attraction Tiles (Big Tile): If a player uses an attraction tile, remove the tile from the game and take a big tile with a same attraction image from the pool and play it. The big tile cannot cover any other tile on the table.
Red player draws Attraction tile and uses it. He removes the small Attraction and plays big attraction tile. Red moves 2 slides after playing the attraction.
- Tunnel tile: When a player plays a Tunnel Entrance (It is in the Slide Deck at the game setup, so one player will have this on his hand during the game), take the Tunnel Exit tile with picture from the pool. And connect the Tunnel Exit to any route of the whole water park on the table except Tunnel Entrance tile. But the Exit tile must touch only one route with other tile. The route's number must be same with it on Entrance tile. Before the player moves his/her pawn, check the number of slide on the Tunnel Entrance the pawn is on. And the pawn jumps to the slide of same number on the Tunnel Exit.
Any pawn cannot get into a slide of Tunnel Exit during the game. Exit tile can be used only to go out.
As Green plays the Tunnel Entrance, Green jumps from slide #1 of the tile to the slide #1 of Tunnel Exit and Purple also jumps to the slide #2 on Tunnel Exit. And Green gets 1 bonus token.
Life Guard
Life Guard tile: Very rarely, a player may not play any tile of his hand because of Golden rule. If this situation happens, the player finds a pair of Life Guard tiles and follow the rule of Tunnel tile. There are Life Guard Entrance and Life Guard Exit.
Game Ends
The game ends at the end of the turn in which the last slide tile is played. If there is no more tile on the pile and every player uses the tile in his hand, the game ends.
Scoring
At the end of the game, every game pawn goes back to its starting place of the start tile. From the starting player, counts how many tiles he/her visited. The player counts each tile on his/her route (including starting tile, tunnel tile and life guard tile). This is called "Victory point".
Then each player gets the "Bonus point" according to the bonus token collects. The bonus points vary according to the numbers of bonus tokens that the player has.
- 1 bonus token: 1pt
- 2 bonus tokens: 3pts
- 3 bonus tokens: 6pts
- 4 bonus tokens: 10pts
- 5 and more bonus tokens: 15pts
The player who has the most sum of the points wins the game. If there are 2 or more players who have same points, the player who has later turn wins.
At the end of the game, Red made 19 movements with 1 Bonus token (+1pt) and Green made 18 movements with 2 Bonus tokens (+3pts). Purple made 14 movements with 1 Bonus token (1pt). Green wins!
