1 articulated game board, 100 cards (500 questions in total), 4 erasable pens, 2 pieces to lock the articulated arms, and the rules.

Goal of the Game

Be the first player to score 10 points by answering questions correctly.

Setup

Place the game board in the centre of the table and give one pen to each player.

Each player sits in front of one of the articulated arms. If there are fewer than 4 players, lock the unused arms so that they do not get in the way.

Playing the Game

The player considered the "speed" player begins the game as the "reader." The role then passes to the player on their left, and so on.

The "reader" changes on each turn. Their task is to launch the arrow, draw a card, and read the question of the matching colour. They also keep their own articulated arm lowered so as not to get in the way of the others.

The players write their answer on their articulated arm as quickly as possible before releasing it.

Warning: the questions are full of traps! Do not confuse speed with haste.

The participants then raise the articulated arms one by one to check who was the first to give the correct answer.

That player scores 1 point. They keep the card to represent this point.

Erase the answers and draw a new card to continue the game.

End of the Game

The game ends as soon as a player scores their 10th point. That player is declared the winner.

Clarifications

  • The winner in the case of a correct answer is, of course, the arm that is lowest down. Otherwise check the second, and so on.
  • The arms must simply be released. It is forbidden to accompany the movement.
  • Remember to lock the extra arms so that they do not get in the way of the game.
  • If nobody finds the correct answer, the "reader" changes all the same.
  • Answers must be complete. Dates are written with 4 digits (1980 and not 80).
