Aim
Conquer the galaxy and win the game! Eliminate your opponent's Mothership by permanently knocking it off the table.

Top Tip: Play the Mothership wisely! They are the heaviest piece, so can strike with the most force, but they also need to be protected.
Setup
- Players choose their battleground and set up the arena. Tabletops with a flat surface can be used.
- Each player lays out their pieces in a formation of their choice, within their 1/3rd of the battleground.
Top Tip: When setting up your fleet you can stack your ships for extra protection!
How to Play
The first player to set up their pieces gets to play first. During their turn, players flick their Aliens or Mothership with a finger, trying to forcefully collide with and knock the opponent's pieces off the play area.
Any piece, except for the Mothership, that is knocked off the table is eliminated from play.
Shields must not be flicked.
Respawning
If a player's Mothership is destroyed, it can be respawned in exchange for a Shield, which is then removed from the game. The Mothership must be placed exactly where the Shield was on the table.
Once a player has lost all of their Shields, their Mothership can no longer be respawned.
End of Game
When a player successfully destroys their opponent's Mothership and the opponent is unable to respawn it, the player is declared victorious and wins the game!
Assemble the Arena
Choose your battleground to set up the Arena. Tables with a flat surface that seat 4-8 can be used.
Components used in this step: 4x Mounts, 1x Barrier, 4x Brackets, 1x J-Hook.
- Assemble Brackets: Assemble the arena by pushing the brackets into the mounts.
- Add the Barrier: Secure the velcro at the end of the barrier to itself, around a bracket.
- Locate Brackets: Secure all 4 brackets to the corners of the table by pressing down on the suction cups to ensure they stick.*
- Create the Arena: Slide the cord within the barrier into the very top parts of all the brackets. Ensure that the Shape Invaders logo faces outwards and the fabric is taut.
- Tighten the Top Side: Tighten the arena using the toggles on the top sides of the barrier.
- Secure the Lower Side: Slide the lower side of the barrier into the brackets, then tighten using the bottom toggles.
- Adjust the Arena: Check the barrier is able to catch the pieces when they fall from the table. Adjust the arena if necessary by loosening the bottom toggles and replacing the cord in the brackets.
- Clip Excess Barrier: Use the J-Hook to secure the excess barrier to the side of the existing barrier.
*Note: Don't use a sharp object or excessive force to remove brackets from the table. Instead, slide a credit card under the suction cup to release pressure.
