2 Emergency Camps
At the start of the game, place both emergency camps next to the game board. The emergency camp makes it possible for players to keep one more card in hand, i.e. their hand limit is increased by 1 card.
When Can You Take an Emergency Camp?
- When it is your turn, you can take an emergency camp if your hand limit has already been reached and you do not have one in front of you. Pay 1 ruble before taking your regular turn. You can now take an additional card from the board.
- You must immediately return the emergency camp to the supply when you play a card from your hand.
- If there is no emergency camp next to the game board, you cannot take one.
A New Round
If you have not reduced your hand size by the time your next turn comes around, you must pay upkeep for the emergency camp. In other words, you must pay 1 ruble if you wish to keep the emergency camp.
If you do not have the money, or do not want to pay it, then you must immediately discard 1 card from your hand to the discard pile. Return the emergency camp to the supply for other players to take.
