Waterfront Properties

Waterfront Properties Special Icon

The Waterfront Properties sheet explains a new icon. There is a new icon that appears below the regular building type on the right hand side of the tile. This icon lets the players know that this building has to be played next to water.

Icon note: the new icon is a water drop inside a hexagon, printed directly below the building-type hexagon on the tile's right edge.

Shoreside Estates

  • Building type: Residential (house), with the water icon below it.

  • Cube stacks: 3, 2.

  • Completion reward: 2 VP and a clear meeple.

  • Text:

    Gain 3 [orange cube icon].

Icon note: the orange cube icon is transcribed as printed. The base game's components list 25 orange cubes, which are the Miscellaneous cubes; this identification is inferred from that list and should be checked against the tile.

Seaside Boardwalk

  • Building type: the hexagon on the right edge (an office-building glyph at scan resolution, so Commercial), with the water icon below it.

  • Cube stacks: 2, 2, 2, 1.

  • Completion reward: 3 VP. No meeple is printed.

  • Text:

Gain a meeple that an adjacent building provides.

Waterfront Properties Level 2 Tile Backs

The sheet also shows three Level 2 tile backs. They carry no text, and their rules come from the base game.

World's Fair Building Tiles

The sheet's tile faces are read below. Level 1 and Level 2 tile backs are blank and carry no text.

Futuro Home

  • Building type: Residential (house).

  • Cube stacks: 3, 3, 2.

  • Completion reward: 7 VP and a magenta meeple.

  • Text:

    Gain [cube icon].

Icon note: the cube icon in the "Gain" lines of these tiles is a small mixed-colour cube stack. The scan does not show its colour clearly, so it is transcribed as [cube icon] rather than named as a specific resource.

Ken's Vending Mall

  • Building type: Commercial (office building).

  • Cube stacks: 4.

  • Completion reward: 1 VP and a blue meeple.

  • Text:

    Gain 2 [cube icon].

Ferris Wheel

  • Building type: Park (tree).

  • Cube stacks: 2, 3, 2.

  • Completion reward: a purple meeple is printed at the bottom right of the tile. No completion VP is printed. The layout suggests this is the completion reward, but the scan does not confirm it.

  • Text:

[purple meeple icon] Gain [cube icon].

[purple meeple icon] Gain 1 VP for every 2 [cube icon] you have.

Gain 1 VP per [four-way arrow icon] [house icon].

Icon note: each of the first two lines is led by a purple meeple icon. The four-way arrow icon in the last line is not defined in the base rulebook's icon reference and could not be identified at scan resolution, so it is transcribed as printed. The [house icon] is the Residential building icon.

World Pavilion

  • Building type: Civic (bank).

  • Cube stacks: 2, 1.

  • Completion reward: 1 VP and a green meeple.

  • Text:

Gain [cube icon] for each different building type you've completed.

Howie's Hovercrafts

  • Building type: Industry (factory).

  • Cube stacks: 4, 2, 4.

  • Completion reward: 3 VP and a magenta meeple.

  • Text:

    Gain 3 [cube icon].
