Objective

Score as close to 30 points as possible within three rolls.

Game Play

Roll all 6 dice. With as few dice as possible, place the results within the game quadrants trying to match the point value shown in the red oval. A maximum of 4 dice can be played in each quadrant. Players may use multiple rolls to complete any quadrant. Each player has a 3 roll limit. Only unused dice are re-rolled. Once a die is placed it cannot be moved or re-rolled.

Scoring

The sum of all dice placed within a quadrant must equal the point value of the quadrant to score. All dice placed within the quadrant that are NOT on a gold Calliope square will reduce the quadrant's value by 1 point each. The total pip count of unused dice and dice placed within quadrants that fail to match the quadrants' completed point value are subtracted from the sum of the scored quadrants. Utilizing all 6 dice on the gold Calliope squares will yield a perfect score of 30 points!

Score Card

The score card has four quadrants, each marked with a red oval giving its point value: 4 (lower left), 6 (lower right), 8 (upper left) and 12 (upper right). Each quadrant has four squares. Some squares are gold with a Calliope swirl symbol; the others are white and printed with a red "-1". The gold Calliope squares are the squares referred to in the Scoring section. The quadrants total 30 points (4 + 6 + 8 + 12), which is the perfect score.
