Island Layout
The island tiles are laid out in two rows separated by a dashed line. The upper row is the past and the lower row is the present.
- Past (upper row, red frames): island tiles 1, 3, 5, 7, 9.
- Present (lower row): island tiles 2, 4, 6, 8, 10.
- A small label reading "event horizon" appears at the right end of the dashed line.
Each island tile on the sheet carries a disc token; the sheet does not print a name for these tokens.
Totems
The sheet has a "Totems" panel with numbered yellow totem tokens:
- Totems 1 and 3: Resolve one [black item icon].
- Totem 2: Put a [green token icon] on the leg of your character.
- Totem 4: You need [mortar-and-pestle icon]. Otherwise, the character with the [green token icon] on his leg suffers three damage (broken-heart icon).
Special Rules
In the odd turns, you play in the past while in the even turns you play in the present. When you reveal an island tile with [small grey pictogram, illegible at the scan resolution] in the past, put on it the next odd number (1 or 3) while in the present the next even number (2 or 4). The island tiles with those numbers are the places where the plants are located.
Take the special "Gather an ingredient" action on an island tile numbered 1–4 to gather a plant (once for each tile). You still need more action pawns based on the distance from the camp/shelter. On a success, place a blue disc on the island tile. You can take this action only on the island tiles 1 and 3 when you are in the past and the island tiles 2 and 4 when you are in the present. As soon as you have gathered all the ingredients, you need to take the special "Antidote" action, and survive until the end of the round, in order to win the scenario. You can only take the "Antidote" action in the present.
The special discovery tokens and the book icon give you a different bonus/penalty if you use them in the past or in the present.
At the end of every turn in the present, each player suffers one damage (broken-heart icon). The poison makes you weaker.
Scenario Goal
Find and gather the ingredients, both in the past, and in the present, in order to create an antidote!
Gather an Ingredient
Action card. Action pawns shown as figure pictograms separated by a slash: one figure before the slash and two figures after it (read as 1 / 2 pawns, depending on distance from the camp/shelter).
Place a blue disc on the island tile where you successfully performed that action.
Antidote
Action card. Action pawns shown as figure pictograms separated by a slash: one figure before the slash and two figures after it.
You can only take this action in the present. If you have gathered all ingredients and you survive until the end of the round, you win!
Special Discovery Tokens
The sheet has no printed heading for this table. It lists the effect of each special discovery token symbol (left column) in the past (red text) and in the present (black text). Each symbol is described by its shape because the symbol names are not printed.

- Past (red text): Resolve a [unidentified icon].
