At the start of the War Phase Koi discards all Ronin and gains that many Coins. If Koi wins Hire Ronin, every Coin in reserve counts as a Ronin (+1 Force). Players say Coins bid on War Advantages don't count, and think the rulebook example showing Koi holding Ronin at War start is out of date.
