Object of the Game

The goal is to be the first player to get rid of all of your pegs.

Preparation

Each player receives 6 pegs. Roll the die to determine who begins: the player with the highest number may start.

Rules of Play

Players take turns rolling the die in clockwise order. The pegboard has 5 holes, marked with the numbers 1 to 5.

If a player rolls a number and the matching hole is empty, that player may insert one of their pegs into it. If the hole is occupied, the player must take the peg standing in that hole into their own possession.

The number 6 is a "lucky roll." On a 6, a player may always place one of their pegs into the large recess. It stays there.

Important

In the first round, each player may roll only once. From the second round on, a player may roll as many times as they like, provided they always land on an empty hole. As soon as a player rolls an occupied hole, they must take the peg standing there, and the next player takes their turn. Every player must roll at least once.

End of the Game

When a player has no pegs left, the game ends and that player has won.
