Game Components
- A pad of sheets with answer tables
- 55 category cards (two categories per card)
Setup
Before the game begins, each player receives a sheet with an answer table and prepares something to write with.
Round Sequence
1) Writing
At the start of the round, one of the participants draws a category card, chooses one of the categories on it and reads it aloud. Each player, in secret from the others, writes four words that fit the drawn category in their answer table. The first three words are written in the fields marked with numbers, and the fourth in the field with the ROCKET symbol.
2) Confrontation
When everyone has filled in their sheets, the players take turns reading the words from their three fields 1, 2, 3 (without the ROCKET). After each time a player reads a word, the other participants say whether they have the same word on their lists.
Words that are synonyms (e.g. "samochód" and "auto", car) are treated as two different words. Words that are diminutives (e.g. "kwiat" and "kwiatek", flower) or that differ in grammatical form (e.g. "nauczyciel" and "nauczycielka", teacher; "cukierek" and "cukierki", candy/candies) are treated as the same word.
Three situations are possible:
- A player read a word that no one other than them wrote: no one receives a point.
- A player read a word that someone else wrote in field 1, 2 or 3, and no one wrote it in the ROCKET field: all players who have that word receive 1 point each.
- A player read a word that someone else wrote in the ROCKET field: all players who had that word in the ROCKET field receive 2 points each; the other players score no points.
Players write the points they score to the right of the respective fields. In one round it is possible to score from 0 to 5 points.
End of the Game
The game ends after five rounds. The winner is the player who has accumulated the most points in total.
In case of a tie, the player who hit more ROCKETS wins.
