What happens if gold, iron or another resource runs out of the supply?
You can only take what is actually left, so a card or reward that would give you a resource that has run out gives you nothing. Nothing replaces gold or iron, and a player may hoard it. The designer has also said Silver and Provisions are not meant to be restricted, apart from the end-of-turn 8 limit.
