Components Used in This Game

Return unused items back into the box. The garbage cards come in four colors, each representing a category of trash: glass and can (red), plastic (blue), plastic bottle (green), and home appliance (white).

• 88 Garbage Cards — Single (20 each in 4 colors), Double (2 each in 4 colors). Use all cards. A card with 1 icon at the corner counts as Single; a card with 2 icons at the corner counts as Double.
• 28 Reward Cards — 7 each in 4 colors (values 0, 1, 2, 3, -2, 4, 5).
• 4 Disposal Plant Tiles — 1 each in 4 colors. Use the "R-ECO PAY+" side facing up.

Setup

Disposal Plant Tiles and Reward Cards

1. Place the 4 disposal plant tiles horizontally in a row in the same direction. The upper side of the disposal plant tile (color of the garbage) forms the recycle area, and the lower side (gray) forms the collection area. Leave some space to place cards in both areas.
2. Separate the reward cards by color and stack them face-up in the order of 0, 1, 2, 3, -2, 4, 5, with 0 on the top. Place the reward card stack on each disposal plant tile with the same color.

Garbage Card

3. Shuffle all 88 garbage cards and deal 3 cards facing down to each player as their hand.
4. Put the rest of the cards on the side of the table as a deck.
5. Reveal 1 card and place it face up at the collection area on the leftmost disposal plant, and repeat once for all remaining disposal plants from left to right. The revealed card's color does not have to match the color of the disposal plant.

The player who most recently threw some garbage becomes the first player.

Setup is now completed. Let's see how the game works.

Overview

Objective of the Game

Dispose the garbage cards in your hand correctly by sending them to the recycle area of the corresponding color. If there are 4 or more pieces of garbage at the recycle area, you will receive a reward (score). If you failed to handle the garbage cards in your hand carefully enough, penalty awaits during the end of the game. The winner is the player with the most points when the reward cards of any color run out.

Course of the Game

Players take turns in clockwise order starting with the first player. During their turn, the player must play through step 1-3 as written below.

1. Play garbage card(s) to the recycle area (get reward if applicable)

Choose one disposal plant tile and play any garbage card of the matching color from your hand. Place the card you play to the recycle area above the disposal plant. You may play as many cards as you wish to the recycle area as long as they share the same color.

After you finish playing your cards, calculate the total number of garbage in that recycle area (1 for single, 2 for double).

If that recycle area has 4 or more garbage:

Take the top most reward card from the top of that disposal plant tile. Group the reward cards you have earned according to their color and place them in front of you, facing up. After that, discard all garbage cards in the recycle area of that disposal plant. You only get 1 reward card even if there are more than 4 garbage.

If the recycle area has 3 or less garbage:

You do not get any reward card. Leave all garbage cards in the recycle area.

2. Collect the card(s) in the collection area (check for illegal dumping)

After you play any garbage card(s) to the recycle area, you must pick up all garbage cards from the collection area at the bottom of the selected disposal plant tile and add them to your hand. After adding the collected cards to your hand, count the number of cards in your hand and check for illegal dumping.

You have 6 or more cards in your hand:

You must illegally dump card(s) from your hand until you have 5 cards in your hand. Keep 5 cards as your hand and discard all other cards face down in front of you. You may choose which card to keep from your hand. At the end of the game, each face down card in front of you will cost you a minus 1 point penalty.

You have 5 or less cards in your hand:

You do not dump any cards from your hand.

Example of step 1 and step 2: Play cards that share a color. Get 1 reward card since the total number of garbage is 4. Add all cards from the collection area to your hand. Illegally dump 1 card in front of you since your hand exceeds the limit of 5 cards — a penalty of minus 1 point.

3. Refill the collection area

After collecting cards from the collection area and checking for illegal dumping, refill the empty collection area with new garbage cards. Check the disposal plant tile you chose in step 1. Reveal a number of card(s) equal to one plus the number of garbage in the recycle area from the deck and place them in the collection area. If the deck runs out, shuffle the discard pile to form a new deck.

After you refill the collection area, you end your turn and the next player begins their turn.

End of the Game

Whenever any player received the last reward card from any disposal plant tile during step 1, continue to proceed until step 3 and the game ends. All players then calculate their score.

Scoring

1. Check the number of reward cards. Separate your reward cards by color and check the number of cards of each color. If any color has only one reward card, discard that reward card without adding it to your score.
2. Totaling your score. Add up the numbers written on all reward cards.
3. Illegal dumping and Excellent company bonus. If there is any garbage card facing down in front of you, subtract 1 point from your total score. If you have no garbage cards facing down in front of you, you earned yourself an "Excellent company bonus". You get extra bonus point(s) according to the table below:

The player with the highest total score wins. In case of a tie, the player with the least illegal dumping (fewer face-down garbage cards) is the winner. If it is still a tie, the tied players share the victory.
