How to Play

Pricetitution is for 3 or more players that have 30 minutes and are looking for some good discussions. As long as one person has a game, you can play over Zoom, Google Meet or any video platform too. It is easy to play with just four steps.

1. Meet the Pricetitute

Someone draws a price tag card and reads it aloud. Congratulations, you're the "Pricetitute."

Example price tag card: "How much money would it take me to let someone look through my phone and share anything they want?" Printed footnote on the card: "The player with the lowest battery has 5 minutes to search my phone."

2. Question Your Friend(ship)

For 1 minute-ish, the group asks the Pricetitute any questions to help guess the Pricetitute's answer and judge their worth as a human.

Example questions shown: "Have you ever taken a naked selfie?", "Would you show us the last picture you took?", "Do you delete incriminating texts?"

3. Turn Friends Into Numbers

Everyone, including the Pricetitute, writes down the lowest possible dollar amount they think the Pricetitute would need to do what's listed on the price tag.

Each player writes their number face down. The Pricetitute writes "?" instead of a number.

Example from the graphic: players P1, P2 and P3 write $400, $7 and $2500. The Pricetitute writes "?".

4. Reveal Prices, Argue

Everyone shares their prices, and the closest guess to the Pricetitute's answer wins the price tag (1 point). Then all players argue and judge each other's reasoning, even though it doesn't matter at this point.

First to 4 wins.

Example from the graphic: P1 $400, P2 $7, P3 $2500 and the Pricetitute's answer $3000. P3's $2500 is the closest guess and wins the price tag.
