Game Idea
Who, with skill and a delicate touch, steers the police car through the city to the right crime scene and prevents the most burglaries?
Contents
1 game board (2 parts), 1 police car, 1 siren, 1 overview map, 12 alarm tiles, 48 safe cards, 3 number dice, 1 set of instructions
Playing time: approx. 20 minutes
Preparation
- Each round, determine one police player and one crook player.
- Police player: Place the game board in front of you, place the police car on the marking on the game board, and place the siren and overview map next to the game board.
- Crook player: Stack 6 safe cards in front of you, have the dice ready, and place the alarm tiles face down, in any order, on the green dots of the overview map.
Game Play
The police player presses the siren = the round begins. The crook player and the police player play at the same time.
Police player
- Moves the game board and thereby steers the police car through the streets of the city.
- When the police car arrives at a crime scene (= green dot): the police player presses the siren, and the game is interrupted.
- Turn over the alarm tile of that crime scene on the overview map:
- Alarm tile shows a green dot = the game continues.
- Alarm tile shows a burglar: first burglar = the game continues; second burglar = end of the game (round).
Crook player
- Lays a safe card from the stack in front of you.
- Roll all three dice; if a rolled number is on the safe card, place that die on the corresponding space of the safe card and roll the remaining dice again.
- All three dice on the safe card:
- take a new safe card from the stack, or
- call "Stop!".
End of the Round
- The police player turns over the second burglar = the police player gets all six safe cards of this round.
- The crook player calls "Stop!" = the crook player gets the completed safe cards. The police player gets the uncompleted safe cards.
End of the Game
The game ends when every player has been the police player twice. The player with the most safe cards wins.
