Setup

Form 2 teams and place 4 piles of cards on the table, one pile for each of the 4 rounds.

Round Explanations

Round 1: Find the Lyrics

Taking turns, each team has 45 seconds to answer as many questions as possible asked by the opposing team. If you do not know the answer, you may pass. Each correct answer scores 1 point (keep the cards to count the points).

Round 2: Culture and Fun Facts

Each team draws 5 cards from the Round 2 pile. Taking turns, each team asks the opposing team a question from a card. Each correct answer scores 1 point (keep the cards to count the points).

Round 3: Blind Test

Draw 5 cards from the Round 3 pile. The team with the lower score chooses one of these 5 cards, the one on which it wants to be questioned for a blind test. The other team scans the QR code and chooses 5 songs from the playlist to play for them. The questioned team has 30 seconds to recognise the title or the artist of the song played.

Then the roles are reversed, and the other team chooses which playlist it wants to be questioned on from the 4 remaining cards.

The team that recognised the most songs keeps its QR code card and scores 3 points. In case of a tie, replay the round.

Tip: choose songs from the selected playlist strategically, to try to trap the opposing team.

Round 4 (recommended from 4 players): Hum or Mime

Each player draws a card from the Round 4 pile without revealing it to their teammates.

Taking turns, try to get your teammates to guess one of the titles on your drawn card by miming and/or humming it for 30 seconds. After this time, the opposing team has a chance to find the correct answer and steal the point. Each correct answer scores 1 point (keep the cards to count the points).

Clarification: if the number of players is odd, one player from the team with fewer members draws one additional card.

End of Game

The team with the most points at the end of the 4 rounds wins the game. Points are scored as follows: 1 point per card won in Rounds 1, 2 and 4; and 3 points for the Round 3 QR code card.
