Gerard Matranga

Top half of the card, printed upright. Printed attack value 4 (sword icon) and life value 20 (shield icon). Subtitle: "Wicked War Profiteers."

  • You can attack with any hero in your unit, regardless of the current wave.
  • Each of your heroes can only attack once per round.
  • You can attack during the round 1 ceasefire.

Mercenary

Bottom half of the card, printed upside down. Printed attack value 3 (sword icon). The shield value in the bottom corner is not legible in the scan and is not transcribed.

  • When this hero takes damage, you can apply any amount of that damage to your leader instead. (Red power band. Printed with a red arrow pointing from the hero icon to a damage icon.)
  • Attack: Recruit a hero into any wave of your unit. (Green power band. Printed with the word "anywhere" above the hero icon.)
  • Attack: Defeat a hero in your unit. Do damage equal to its attack strength to all rear enemy heroes. (Blue power band. Printed with a red arrow, a skull icon, and a grid of rear-row slots.)
  • Keep this order in play until the end of the round. You can recruit to any wave of your unit when recruiting. (Purple power band. Printed with the word "anywhere" above the hero icon and a card icon.)

Notes

  • The Gerard Matranga half is the single unboxed ability text at the top of the card, printed upright. The Mercenary half's four colour bands (red, green, blue, purple) are printed upside down, matching the inverted "Mercenary" title, so they are read as that half's powers.
  • The card's bands are colour-coded and each carries an icon. The icons are shown as printed on the card; the text beside each icon is the power's rule.
  • Terms such as "Attack", "hero", "unit", "wave", "leader", "rear", "recruit", "ceasefire", and "order" are used as defined in the base Pixel Tactics rulebook.
