Brief Game Overview

Each round, one of the players draws a photo card. All players secretly vote for the player they think best fits the picture on the card. Once all players have turned over their vote card, it is determined which player(s) received the most votes. Each player who voted for one of those players may move their pawn forward on the game board. The player who first reaches the FINISH field on the game board wins the game.

Setup

  • Place the game board on the table.
  • Each player receives 1 pawn, 1 player card and as many vote cards as there are players, in the colours of the players. He places his pawn on the START field of the game board. He lays his player card in front of him (to show which colour he is playing) and holds his vote cards in his hand. Return all remaining pawns, player cards and vote cards to the box.
  • Shuffle all photo cards and place them in the card holder.

Game Play

The game lasts several rounds. Each round consists of the following phases:

  1. Draw a card
  2. Vote
  3. Score
  4. End of the round

1. Draw a Card

One of the players draws 1 photo card from the 'OUT' side of the card holder. He places the card, with the side of his choice facing up, in the photo frame of the game board. This way all players can clearly see the card.

2. Vote

Each player now chooses one of his vote cards and lays it face down in front of him. With this card he votes for the player he thinks the picture fits best. A player may also vote for himself. Talking is not permitted during voting. Discussions afterwards are of course allowed, and we strongly recommend them.

3. Score

Each player now turns over his chosen vote card. Determine which player(s) received the most votes. Each player who voted for that player (or those players) may move his pawn one space forward on the game board. If there is an equal number of votes, all players in the majority move one space forward. (Translator's note: the printed Dutch for this tie case reads "alle spelers met de meerderheid", and the sheet does not further define who counts as "in the majority". The wording is transcribed as printed.)

Example: the red player receives 3 votes and therefore has the most votes. The green, yellow and red players each receive 1 point and move their pawn one space forward on the game board.

4. End of the Round

Return the drawn theme card (the photo card) to the 'IN' side of the card holder. Each player takes his used vote card back into his hand. If nobody has reached the FINISH field on the game board, play a new round as described above.

End of the Game

The game ends when a pawn reaches the FINISH field. In case of a tie, the players concerned share the win.
