In This Game

...2 players become drone pilots who load up presents on a drone and carry them. However, each player can only use 1 finger, and they must use the pressure of their fingers to move the drone. The other players will try to speculate how much the drone pilots will be able to carry. The drone pilots try to carry as many presents as they can, while the speculators try to predict how many the pilots will carry and aim for a high score.

Set-up

  1. Turn all of the shop cards face down, shuffle well, and then lay them face up in the play area in a 3 x 3 grid. Leave about one shop card's width of space between each card.
  2. Turn all of the present cards face down and shuffle well. From the top of the stack, take a card one at a time and place it face up below the picture on a shop card. Set aside the 3 leftover present cards.
  3. Place the corresponding presents on top of the present cards in the play area. (Shape the folded paper presents into boxes, by folding along the lines to create a right-angled box.)
  4. Set aside the leftover presents.
  5. Place each landing pad on top of the drone mark on the shop cards with "0/9" and "1" shown on them. Then, place the drone on top of the landing pad on the "0/9" card.
  6. Gather the score chips and place them at a location within reach of all players.
  7. Place all of the speculation cards off to the side.
  8. Choose a starting player. The starting player and the player to their left will make a pair and become the "Drone Pilots". The other players will be the "Speculators".

Playing a Round

Speculation Phase

  1. The speculators will predict how many landing pads the drone pilots will be able to carry the presents to. The speculator to the left of the drone pilots takes the stack of speculation cards and chooses 1 card with the number of their speculation and places it face down in front of them.

If the presents are carried to landing pad "6" without falling, and then the presents fall while moving from "6" to "7", this is considered being carried as far as landing pad "6".

  2. Pass the remaining speculation cards to the next speculator on the left, who chooses a card in the same way. Going clockwise, once all of the speculators have chosen a speculation card, the speculation phase ends.

Challenge Phase

  1. One of the drone pilots loads the present from the drone's current location on top of the drone.

    • It's recommended to take turns loading the drone.
    • If there are already other presents loaded, you must place it on top of the present that was loaded immediately before.
    • The present can be loaded in any orientation.
    • You cannot try to move any presents other than the one you are currently loading.
    • If you drop a present while placing it here, you can reload it as long as the previously loaded presents do not fall.
  2. The drone pilots, each using one finger to lift the drone at the same time, take care not to let the presents fall, and land it on the landing pad of the next numbered shop card.

    • You are not allowed to touch the presents.
    • It's ok to stand up and move around.
  3. Move the landing pad that was on the previous shop card to the next numbered shop card. This is the next destination.

After landing at "1", move the landing pad that was at "0" to "2".

Continue repeating steps (1) - (3) and aim to carry the presents to "0/9 (the starting location)". The challenge phase ends when any of the following occur.

AThe drone lands at "0/9"
BIf even 1 present falls (excluding the present you are trying to load; includes when the present falls onto the drone)
CThe drone lands somewhere other than the next landing pad
DYou touch a present that is already loaded

When the challenge phase ends, the number of the shop card that was last safely landed on is counted as successful.

Calculating the Score

The speculators reveal their speculation cards. Each player receives score chips equal to the following:

Drone Pilots — the number of the successful shop card.

(If the presents are carried to landing pad "6" without falling, and then the presents fall while moving from "6" to "7", this is considered being carried as far as landing pad "6".)

Speculators

  • Correctly speculated the last shop card successfully landed at: number on chosen card + 1
  • Speculated a lower number than the last shop card successfully landed at: number on chosen card
  • Speculated a higher number than the last shop card successfully landed at: no points

The round is finished.

Turns move to the next player clockwise. Return the used present cards, presents, and speculation cards and start the next round from step (2) of "Set-up". Leave the shop cards as they are. Shuffle only the present cards, including the unused ones, and line them up again.

Ending the Game and Results

Once all players have become a drone pilot twice, the game ends. The player with the highest score is the winner. In case of a tie, share the win.
