Setup
As a first step, shuffle all the cards and give one card face down to each player, which they may not look at until the start of the game.
After this, with the remaining cards from the deck, form 5 rows of 6 cards. All of them face up and within reach of every player.
Now we are ready to start the game!
How to Play
At the start of the round, all players flip over their card and, using only one hand, must try to grab as many cards as possible. To do this, look carefully at the cards in the middle of the table and find a card that is exactly the same as your card or that differs in only one attribute.
The cards can show up to 5 different attributes:
- Size of the seal
- With or without a raised arm
- With or without protective goggles
- With or without a can of fish
- Season (autumn or winter)
Keeping these possible changes in mind, look carefully at each card before picking it up, and if you believe it is valid, take it and place it on top of your starting card, forming a stack and using this new card as the reference when continuing to pick up cards.
Each card in the stack differs in only one attribute from the next, or is identical to it.
Players keep grabbing as many cards as they can, and the moment a player believes they cannot grab any more cards, they must shout "FROZEN!" and slap the table.
At this point, all players stop grabbing cards and move on to checking each player's collection.
Checking Cards
The first step is to check whether it is true that the player who shouted "FROZEN!" could not grab any more cards.
If they were wrong, they lose all the cards they obtained that round.
If they were right, their sequence of collected cards is checked next, and if everything is correct, they keep their cards and, as a reward, take one additional card from the middle of the table. If their sequence is incorrect, they lose all the cards obtained during the round.
After this, the sequence of cards obtained by the rest of the players is checked, following the same procedure described above, but without the additional reward for a correct sequence, since that reward is only for the player who shouted "FROZEN!"
Preparing a New Round
Once the players' cards have been checked, the next round can be prepared.
To do this, simply deal a new card to each player and fill in the gaps left on the board until there are again 5 rows of 6 cards.
Play continues in this way, round after round, until there are not enough cards to deal one to each player at the start of a round.
End of Game
When the game ends, players count up the cards they have collected during the game, and the player with the highest number of cards is the winner of the game.
