Contents
- 1 drawing board
- 1 pair of glasses with a flexible headband
- 1 marker (+ adapter)
- 45 cards
- 1 eraser
Note: you need a pencil and paper for scoring.
Setup
- Attach the headband and the marker to the glasses as shown in the illustration.
(If the marker included in the game dries out, you may use your own dry-erase marker. The adapter included in the package may be needed to attach the marker.)
- Each player takes one card and keeps it secret from the other players.
Goal
Draw the things named on the card... with your NOSE!
Play
- The youngest player starts.
- The player takes the drawing board and puts on the glasses. They place their card in the opening at the top of the drawing board, lift the board in front of their face, and draw the first word on the card with the Pencil Nose nose. The other players compete to guess what the drawer is drawing.
- Letters and numbers may not be used. However, they may be used if they are an integral part of the thing being drawn, such as the numbers 1–12 on a clock face.
- The player keeps drawing until someone guesses correctly, or until the drawer or all the guessers say they give up.
- During their turn the drawer may wipe the board and start over.
- When someone guesses correctly, both the guesser and the drawer get 1 point. (A pencil and paper are needed to record the points.)
- The drawer wipes the board and draws the next word on their card.
- This continues until all five words on the drawer's card have been drawn.
- The turn passes to the player on the drawer's left, who puts on the glasses and begins drawing the words on their own card.
- The game continues until every player has drawn all the words on their card in turn.
Winning the Game
- The player with the most points at the end of the game wins.
Variant: Team Play
- If there are more than four players, you may play in teams.
- The teams draw in turns.
- Set a timer for 60 seconds. The drawer draws the words on their card, and the team members try to guess as many words as possible while the timer runs. The team gets 1 point for each correct guess.
- The turn then passes to the other team, which also has 60 seconds to draw and guess.
- You may freely choose how many rounds (cards) to play.
- At the end of the game, the team that has collected the most points wins.
