Get Ready!

  1. Take the test cards and the peanuts and place them in the dispenser in the centre of the board, with the hourglass in the upper hole.
  2. Place the Partydance deck face down on the table.
  3. Divide into 2, 3 or 4 teams.
  4. Deal each player one Voting Card.
  5. Each team draws one Objective Card at random and keeps it hidden until the end of the game.
  6. Decide which team starts.

How to Play

  • Roll the die. The team that starts is the team that rolls it.
  • An opposing team member takes a card from the category that came up and reads it to the team on turn. It is always an opposing team member who reads the tests to the team on turn.
  • If the team on turn passes the test, it wins a peanut of that colour. Whether the team passes the test or not, the turn passes to the team on the right.
  • On your turn, you may exchange 3 peanuts of one colour for one peanut of any colour you want.

Who wins?

  • The team that collects all the peanuts shown on its Objective Card wins. It does not matter if there are extra peanuts left over.

Be careful! To win, at the moment you obtain the penultimate peanut, you must say out loud: "NOS FALTA UNO!" ("WE ARE MISSING ONE!"). If you do not, you must return the last peanut you obtained.

Don't Forget

  • All tests are played against the clock. You must use the 45-second hourglass located in the centre of the dispenser.
  • In TODOS JUEGAN ("ALL PLAY") tests, all players in the game take part.
  • Among the test cards there are SURPRISE cards, which can give the game an unexpected twist.
  • The Voting Cards are used in the tests "¿Cuál será?" ("What Will It Be?"), "La mayoría" ("The Majority") and "Di cómo soy" ("Tell Me How I Am").

Categories and the Die

The die shows the category of the test to be read:

  • Quiz & Co (question-mark icon): Do you use your head?
  • Friends & Co (spiral icon): Do you really know your friends?
  • Show & Co (star icon): Bring out the star inside you!
  • Art & Co (pencil icon): A picture is worth a thousand words!
  • COMODÍN (wild card): choose the category you want.
  • ANTI-COMODÍN (anti wild card): the opposing team chooses the category for you.

Tests by Category

Each test card explains in brief what the test consists of. Quiz & Co cards are questions; the other categories contain tests.

Quiz & Co

  • ¿Te la sabes? (Do You Know It?): Direct-answer questions. Only one answer may be given.
  • Verdadero o Falso (True or False): Questions with a true or false answer. Only one answer may be given.
  • ¿Cuál será? (What Will It Be?) ALL PLAY: One question with 3 answer options is read to ALL players in the game. Each team, using one Voting Card, secretly chooses which option it believes is correct. (See "Voting Cards" below for how this is used.)
    • Note: the player who reads the question may also play, since the answer is hidden and they can check it afterwards using the Partygafas.
    • All teams that answer correctly win a blue peanut.

Friends & Co

  • Un, Dos, Tres (One, Two, Three): The team on turn chooses two of its players to MATCH or NOT MATCH. On the count of three, aloud, they each say a name from the theme shown on the card. They have only one chance before the hourglass runs out. White-label (store) brands may not be named.
  • Di cómo soy (Tell Me How I Am): An opposing player reads the question on the card, with 2 answer options, to a player chosen by the team on turn. That player, using their Voting Card, secretly chooses one option. The rest of the team must guess their answer.
  • La mayoría (The Majority) ALL PLAY: ALL players in the game, using their Voting Card, secretly choose which option they will answer the question with. When the time is up, all answers are checked. The team, or teams, with the most players whose answer matches the majority answer win.

Show & Co

  • Taraoke: One player of the team must hum the song indicated on the card. The rest of the team must guess which song it is.
  • Partydance: This test is played with the Partydance deck. Turn over as many cards from the deck as the card indicates. ALL the players of the team must perform a choreography, in the order the steps came up and in the way the card describes.
    • Example shown on the rules sheet: a card that says to turn over 3 cards, with the instruction "perform the sequence of steps 2 times". The steps shown are Michael Jackson, Twerking and Clapping (Palmas).
  • Mímica (Mime) ALL PLAY: One player of the team on turn must act out, using gestures and sounds, what the card indicates. ALL players in the game must guess what it is. The team that guesses the answer first wins. The player who read the card cannot take part.

Art & Co

  • Partygafas (Party Glasses): One player of the team must draw, using the orange pencil and the Partygafas, what the card indicates. The rest of the team must guess what it is. Letters or numbers may not be used.
  • Partyplasti: One player of the team must model, using the Partyplasti, what the card indicates. Gestures and supporting sounds may be used, but the modelling must always be done with the modelling clay. Talking is not allowed.
  • ¡A dibujar! (Time to Draw!) ALL PLAY: One player of the team on turn must draw what the card indicates. ALL players in the game must guess what it is. The team that guesses the answer first wins. Letters or numbers may not be used. The player who read the card cannot take part.

Test Cards

The test cards explain each test briefly. Tests that are ALL PLAY (TODOS JUEGAN) are marked with an icon in the top right corner.

Each test card has these parts:

  • Type of test (for example, "Mímica").
  • Icon, marking an ALL PLAY test.
  • Explanation: a brief summary of the test.
  • The test to carry out: the item to be performed or answered (for example, "Teletrabajar", Teleworking).
  • Hint (Pista): for example, "Acciones" (Actions).

Except in the Quiz & Co category, which contains questions.

Example of a Mímica card on the rules sheet: "Choose a player to represent the item through gestures and sounds. The rest of the players of ALL the teams, except whoever read this card, must guess what it is." The test is "Teletrabajar" (Teleworking), with the hint "Acciones" (Actions).

SURPRISE Cards

Among the test cards, some are SURPRISE cards, which can give the game an unexpected twist. SURPRISE cards may appear in each category.

When a SURPRISE card that says "exchange one of your peanuts for a new one" comes up, it is mandatory to exchange it, even if you do not need to.

Examples shown on the rules sheet:

  • SURPRISE!: "Exchange ONE of your peanuts for another one. You may choose the colour you prefer."
  • SURPRISE!: "You win ONE GREEN peanut without having to carry out any test."

Voting Cards

The Voting Cards are used in the tests "¿Cuál será?", "La mayoría" and "Di cómo soy". These cards speed up the answers and allow everyone to play at the same time.

How are these cards used? Once a player has chosen option A, B or C, they place the Voting Card face down on the table with the chosen option at the top. Once on the table, the card may not be touched or turned until the end of the test.

To check the votes, all the cards are turned to the right at the same time. The chosen answer will be at the top.

Example with 4 teams on the rules sheet: once the cards are turned to the right, the answers chosen are the ones in the centre.

Contents

  • Partygafas (glasses) and an orange pencil. WARNING: The glasses are not protective eyewear. They must be used only and exclusively during play. They provide no protection.
  • A Partyplasti (modelling clay).
  • A notepad and a pencil.
  • A 45-second hourglass.
  • A spinning dispenser of test cards and peanuts.
  • A board to fit the spinning dispenser into.
  • A die.
  • 32 peanuts: 8 each in 4 colours.
  • 6 different Objective Cards.
  • 24 Partydance cards.
  • 360 reversible test and question cards (180 of each category).
  • 16 Voting Cards.

Strategy

As you play, you will realise that cunning is crucial to completing your Objective Card. It is not only useful to win tests: with strategy and mischief you can also get your rival to help you obtain the peanuts you are missing.

Difficulty

You are free to decide the difficulty level of the tests. For example, in the Taraoke test you can say only the name of the band, only the name of the song, or both. You can do the same with the rest of the tests. Also, at the start of the game, you can decide whether the game is played with hints or without them.

When is the Hourglass Turned?

The hourglass is turned once the whole text of the card has been read and the player who is going to draw, model or act has all the material and is ready.

In Case of a Tie

Sometimes ties can occur. In that case, the only thing left to do is be happy that everyone has won, or play again to break the tie.

The main thing is to have fun, so it is allowed to adapt the rules of the game for this purpose.

Important Notes

Preparation

WARM UP THE MODELLING CLAY: While the game is being set up, it is recommended that someone warm up the Partyplasti in their hand to make it easier to model. When you have finished playing and put the game away, store it in the transparent bag, closed tightly, so that it does not dry out.

Movement and Turns

  • The active team that rolled the die is called the team on turn (Equipo en turno).
  • Whether the test is passed or not, the turn passes.
  • It is always a player of an opposing team who reads the card to the team on turn.
  • After playing an ALL PLAY test, the turn passes to the team that comes after the team on turn.
  • If you pass a test and there are no peanuts of that colour left, you must take one from the team that has the most. That team is supposed to be the one winning.
  • Remember always to say "NOS FALTA UNO!" at the same instant you win the penultimate peanut. If you do not, and you finish the game without having said it, you have not won. You must return the last peanut you obtained and keep playing. Do not forget to say "NOS FALTA UNO" this time!
