Quick Rules in Three Steps

1. Get Ready!

  1. Take the test cards and place them in the central dispenser. For a game you do not need to use all of them. Place the hourglass in the hole in the top of the dispenser.
  2. Divide into 2, 3 or 4 teams.
  3. Each team draws one "Objective Card" at random and keeps it hidden.
  4. Decide which team starts.

2. How to Play

  1. Roll the die. The team that starts is the one that rolls. A member of an opposing team takes a card from the category that came up and reads it to the playing team. It is always an opposing team member who reads the tests to the playing team.
  2. If the playing team passes the test, it wins a "Peanut" of that color. Whether the team passes the test or not, the turn passes to the team on the right. On your turn, you may exchange 4 peanuts of one color for one peanut of any color you want.

Who wins?

  1. The team that collects the "Peanuts" shown on its "Objective Card" wins. It does not matter if you have extra peanuts of one color.

Be careful! When only one peanut is missing for you to win, you must say out loud: "WE ARE MISSING ONE!" (¡NOS FALTA UNO!)

3. Don't Forget

  • Some tests have a time limit and are marked with a small hourglass icon. You must use the hourglass located in the centre of the dispenser for these.
  • Among the test cards there are SURPRISE cards, which can give the game an unexpected twist.

Categories and the Die

Each test card explains what the test consists of. There are 4 categories of play, and each one is divided into 3 subcategories (tests):

  • QUIZ & Co. (question-mark icon): Do you use your head? (¿Llevas la cabeza de adorno?)
    1. Do you know them? (¿Te la sabes?)
    2. What will it be? (¿Cuál será?)
    3. True or False (Verdadero o Falso)
  • PSYCO & Co. (spiral icon): Do you really know your friends?
    1. Telepathy (Telepatía)
    2. What does it suggest to you? (¿Qué te sugiere?)
    3. Tell me how I am (Dime cómo soy)
  • SHOW & Co. (star icon): Bring out the star you carry inside!
    1. Mime (Mímica)
    2. Who am I? (¿Quién soy?)
    3. Karaoke (the source prints "Taraoke")
  • ART & Co. (pencil icon): A picture is worth more than a thousand words!
    1. Draw! (¡A dibujar!)
    2. Partygafas! (¡Partygafas!)
    3. Se te va la pinza ("Your clip is slipping", the clip test)
  • COMODÍN (joker, smiley-face icon): Choose the category you want.

Strategy

As you play, you will notice that cunning is crucial for completing your "Objective Card". It is not only useful to win tests: with strategy and a bit of luck you can also get your rivals to help you collect the peanuts you are missing.

Difficulty Level

You are free to decide the difficulty level of some tests. For example, in the Karaoke test you may ask for only the name of the group, only the name of the song, or both. Do the same with the rest of the tests.

How to Use the "Partypinza"

In the "Se te va la pinza" test, you must hold the "Partypinza" clip as shown in the picture: clipped onto the pencil, with the pencil held in the hand.

Special Situations

What if there is a tie? Sometimes ties occur. In that case, the only thing left is to be glad that everyone is happy, or to play again to break the tie.

What if you pass a test and there are no more peanuts of that colour? You must take one from the team that has the most peanuts of that colour, the team that is presumably winning.

What if you do not answer a question exactly? As stated above, you are free to decide the difficulty level of the tests.

What if you do not call out when only one peanut is missing to win? In this case the last peanut you won is not valid, and it is discarded, and the turn is lost.

Ready to play Party & Co. EXTREME 3.0? Have fun!

  • ANTICOMODÍN (anti-joker, sad-face icon): The opposing team chooses the category.
