Components

Setup
Follow the setup as if playing the base game, but add/change the following points.

Trading port tiles placement: Combine and shuffle the trading port tiles from this expansion with those from the base game. Randomly place them face up in the corresponding space on the mainboard. Return any unused trading port tiles back to the box.

Destination tiles placement: Combine and shuffle the destination tiles from this expansion with those from the base game. Randomly place them face up in the corresponding space on the mainboard. Return any unused destination tiles back to the box.

Place the 4 wild animal tokens and the 4 exotic animal tokens in the common supply.

After completing all the setup, shuffle all 7 personal honor cards and randomly pick as much as the number of players + 1 to be shown to all players. In counterclockwise order starting with the player to the right of the first player, each player chooses one of the displayed personal honor cards and puts it face down in front of them. Return any unused personal honor cards back to the box.
Trading Port Tiles
These tiles are placed on the mainboard during setup (see Setup). Each tile's activation timing is printed beside its effect. The artwork of each trading port tile is shown only as an icon on the printed sheet and is not reproduced here.

| When performing a trade action | Pay 5 gold, place 1 construction disc without paying any stone and take the corresponding building token (up to once per action. Requirements for build action must be met). |

The destination tile artwork is shown only as an icon on the printed sheet and is not reproduced here. The printed table has columns for "First" and "Others" rewards.

Personal Honor Cards
When you perform a trade action, you may flip (turn face up) your face-down personal honor card, with or without activating the trade action effect.
In order to do this, you need to pay 4 gold and fulfil both requirements shown on the card.
You may take an honor card and flip your own personal honor card within one trade action.
The seven personal honor cards are listed below in the order printed on the reference sheet. Each card's artwork is shown as an icon on the printed sheet and is not reproduced here.

*1: Even if you have construction discs on trading port tiles that show wild animal or exotic animal icons, those icons cannot be counted for the fulfillment of personal honor cards. The icons from the trading port tile will only be counted during the final score calculation.
On the other hand, the icons from the wild animal tokens, exotic animal tokens, and immediate support tiles (if you are playing with Patronus expansion) can be counted to achieve the personal honor card.
*2: Even if you have construction discs on the trading port tiles that show ship icons, those icons cannot be counted for the fulfillment of personal honor cards. The icons from the trading port tile will only be counted during the final score calculation.
Wild Animal Tokens and Exotic Animal Tokens
Some of the trading port tiles included in this expansion will provide you with wild animal tokens and exotic animal tokens during the game. If you gain these tokens, take them from the common supply and keep them in front of you. The number of these tokens is limited. You will not be able to gain a token type that is not in the common supply.
Final Score Calculation
In addition to the base game's victory points, if your personal honor card is flipped face up, you gain additional 15 victory points. There is no penalty (point deduction) if you leave it face down.
