Setting Up
- Place the game board in the center of the table.
- Starting with the youngest player and moving clockwise around the table, chose a pizza restaurant at a corner of the game board. The restaurant spaces are marked with a colored star (red, yellow, blue or green).
- Place your pizza delivery car in the restaurant space that matches your chosen color.
- Shuffle the yellow Toppings cards and deal each player six cards. You may look at these cards, but keep them secret from the other players. You don't want others to see what toppings you have.
- Give each player a Pizza Toppings reference card. These are used to help new players recognize the ingredients. Return the unused reference cards to the game box.
- Remove the Game Over card from the Order Up deck and set it aside. Shuffle the Order Up cards.
- Insert the Game Over card face down back into the middle of the Order Up deck. Cut the card deeper in the deck for longer games or closer to the top for shorter ones.
Setting Up Continued
Turn 3 Order cards face up next to the Order deck on the left side of the board. Do the same to the Toppings cards on the right side of the game board. (See picture below.)
Board and Card Setup: the Order cards are placed face up beside the Order deck on the left, the Toppings cards face up beside the Toppings deck on the right, and a Discarded Topping Cards pile is placed alongside them.
Playing the Game
Game play begins with the youngest player and continues clockwise around the table. On your turn you drive your delivery car, play action cards and draw pizza topping cards.
Driving Your Delivery Car
Drive your car by rolling two dice. Move your delivery car the rolled number of road spaces. You may move less spaces than the die roll if you wish. Players may occupy the same road space.
Draw Pizza Toppings
You may draw one or two pizza toppings cards if you occupy your restaurant space at the end of your movement. Choose from the three face-up Toppings cards next to the game board or draw from the face down topping deck.
The drawn toppings cards are added to your hand. You cannot have more than ten topping cards in your hand. Discard any extra topping cards into the topping discard pile.
After selecting your topping cards, replace the drawn Topping cards with cards from the topping deck. There should always be three face up topping cards at the end of your turn.
Re-shuffle the topping discard pile when you run out of topping cards.
Cards
Topping Cards
Topping cards are used to make the pizza orders. Each card has a picture of the ingredient. The number in the lower right corner of each card tells you how many topping cards of this type are in the game.
Action Cards
There are action cards throughout the topping deck. Action cards may only be used during your turn. You may not play an action card when it is not your turn. More than one action card may be used during your turn.
- Wild Card - This card can be used as any topping when making pizzas. The Wild Card is discarded after using it.
- Speed Trap - Send another player back to their pizza restaurant space during your turn. Discard after using it.
- Energy Drink - Add three to your dice roll when moving. Discard after use.
- Pizza Plunder - End your turn in another player's pizza restaurant space and take two of their topping cards of your choice. Discard after use. If drawing these cards increases your ingredient hand size above ten, then all excess cards must be immediately discarded.
The Order Up Card
Each Order Up card shows the following:
- The customer's name.
- The toppings required to deliver the order. For example, you must discard two olives and one onion topping cards when delivering this order.
- The street address of the pizza order.
- The money earned by delivering this pizza.
- The card border is the same color as the road where the order is located.
Delivering a Pizza Order
Deliver a pizza by entering the street address road space for the order. Discard the topping cards required to make the pizza (listed in the order box) and take the Order Up card, placing it face up in front of you. Immediately replace the completed order with a new card from the Order Deck. There should always be three face up Order Up cards.
You may continue driving, making as many pizza deliveries as you can with your remaining movement. There is no limit to the number of pizza orders you may deliver in a turn.
End Game
The game ends when the Game Over card is turned face up from the Order deck.
Each player adds up the dollar value of their completed deliveries. The player with most money wins. If two or more players have the same dollar value, the tie is broken by looking at the number of completed deliveries. The player with the most deliveries wins. The game is a tie if the dollar values and number of deliveries are the same.
