Two spaces plus the tech's column level, so a tech in column 3 gives 5, with Crystals adding more. The Command Center advanced building instead moves the rover by the highest Rover tech level in play, whoever owns it, and that does not count as using their tech. The 2-crystal executive action that moves bots cannot use Rover tech.
