On Mars
What does the Landing Pod give, and does it place a Discovery tile?
It is a Main action with no ship cost: you follow the travel steps to the Colony but skip the Discovery tile step, retrieve your Colonists, then place your marker on a Colony turn order space and take its bonus. Because you took the pod as your action, your marker lies down and you get no colonization turn on the surface that round.
