Printed Icons
The cards use the following printed symbols. Each one is named in square brackets where it appears in a card's text.
- [wave icon] — the wave symbol beside the bottom-left number on the cards.
- [lightning icon] — the lightning bolt in the top-right corner of some cards.
- [left arrow] and [right arrow] — the arrows printed at the bottom of some cards (the adjacency arrows that Nomad's text refers to).
- [green no-sign icon] and [red no-sign icon] — a circle with a diagonal bar through it, in green or red. The scans show no key naming these icons, so they are not renamed here.
- [red value icon N] and [yellow value icon N] — a numbered red diamond or yellow circle printed on a card with the value N.
Each card entry gives the bottom-left number as Migrate and the bottom-right number as Resolution, following the house format. Some numbers are not legible on the scans and are omitted.
Deep Cards
Biome Toxicity
Migrate 4 — Resolution 10 — Icons: [left arrow] [right arrow]
Printed text: After this species, or a species directly adjacent to it, is attacked, every species except this species and the species directly adjacent to it loses 1 population, which goes to the reef.
Bloodbath
Migrate 3 — Icons: [lightning icon]
Printed text: Instead of your usual feeding, every species of yours with a value of at least 3 ([red value icon 3]) can attack this round.
Electric Discharge
Migrate 2 — Resolution 98
Printed text: At the end of the feeding phase, the owner of the attacked species must discard one of its trait cards from the attacked species.
Red text: This effect does not take effect yet in the round in which you play this card.
Frenzied Carnage
Migrate 4 — Icons: [lightning icon]
Printed text: Instead of your usual feeding, every species of yours that does not have the [red no-sign icon] icon can attack this round.
Go Fishing!
Migrate 1 — Icons: [lightning icon]
Printed text: Name a surface trait! Each player gives you all copies of that trait they hold in hand! Play out all the cards you received this way!
Hibernation
Migrate 3
Printed text: Can be fed 2 more times. After aging, you may rotate this card.
Rotated text (printed upside down, applies while the card is rotated): Its aging is reduced by 1. It cannot be fed and cannot be attacked. After aging, you may rotate this card.
Hybridization
Migrate 5 — Resolution 103 — Icons: [left arrow]
Printed text: It copies all traits of the species located immediately to its left.
Intelligence
Migrate 2 — Resolution 104 — Icons: [left arrow] [right arrow]
Printed text: Before each feeding phase, choose one surface trait of an adjacent species. Until the end of the round, it copies the chosen trait.
Invasive Predator
Migrate 3 — Resolution 105
Printed text: Those species that you attack with this species become extinct if, at the end of the feeding phase, they have 0 population.
Red text: This effect does not take effect yet in the round in which you play this card.
Mass Migration
Migrate 10 — Icons: [lightning icon]
Printed text: Pay another player the play costs, then take one of their species, together with the population markers on it!
Mimicry
Migrate 2 — Resolution 107
Printed text: At the start of every round of yours, choose one trait from the gene pool. Until the end of your round, this species has the chosen trait.
Nomad
Migrate 1 — Resolution 62 — Icons: [left arrow] [right arrow]
Printed text: This species' adjacency arrows also apply to the species one further away. You choose the targets of its Blood-sucking effects.
Osteoderm Kaiju
Migrate 5 — Resolution 63 — Printed values: [green no-sign icon], [red value icon 8], [yellow value icon 8]
Printed text: Its aging value increases by 4. It can never overpopulate.
Overgrazing
Migrate 3 — Icons: [lightning icon]
Printed text: Unlike the usual feeding phase, every one of your species that does not have the [green no-sign icon] can receive food. After the feeding phase, move all populations from the reef to an ocean zone of your choice!
Paralysing Venom
Migrate 1 — Resolution 109
Printed text: If you attack another species with this species, afterwards that species cannot attack and cannot receive food until the next feeding phase.
Red text: This effect does not take effect yet in the round in which you play this card.
Parasite Epidemic
Migrate 2 — Resolution 32
Printed text: Before your feeding phase, from every species that has the [green no-sign icon] icon you drain 1 population's worth of blood.
Phosphorescent Lure
Migrate 2 — Icons: [lightning icon]
Printed text: If you are attacked, you may play this card as a free action. After the attack is carried out, if the attacker is a valid target, your attacked species may counterattack.
Proliferation
Migrate 1 — Icons: [lightning icon]
Printed text: Take up to 10 populations from behind your screen, and distribute them among any number of your species in any amounts!
Sea Worm
Migrate 4 — Resolution 76 — Printed values: [green no-sign icon], [red value icon 11]
Printed text: Place those populations for which there is no room on the species board behind your screen, before overpopulation!
Shimmering
Migrate 2 — Resolution 111 — Icons: [left arrow] [right arrow] [red no-sign icon] (printed beside the text)
Printed text: When this species gains population, you may place any number of the population markers just gained onto neighbouring species. It is better to give than to receive!
Short Life Cycle
Migrate 5 — Resolution 34
Printed text: After aging, place all its populations behind your screen!
The Great Migration
Migrate 1 — Icons: [lightning icon]
Printed text: With this population migration, move 10 populations from the ocean to the reef! You may rearrange the order of your species.
