What does 'front arc' mean on the Swipe, Halberd and Multi-Shot cards?

The rulebook's arc diagram only decides where a single-target ability originates. The designers said Swipe and Halberd use front arc too loosely; the shaded area is what the card shows. Multi-Shot's arc is correctly worded as the rulebook arc.
