How much damage does an AoE attack deal to a large enemy when it covers several of its hexes?

Each extra hex of that enemy covered adds +1 damage before armor. The total is then divided by armor to get HP loss, applied to one HP die nearest the attacker. Covering extra hexes does not hit extra locations.
