How are promo allies added to a campaign, and how do they replace fallen fighters?

Question

Accepted Answer

Promo allies are placed in the Free Company bag at setup and drawn from when you set up a story. You may add any number of them to the starting pool alongside the four men-at-arms, and a fallen Oathsworn can be replaced by an available ally from that pool.
