Starting Tiles
Before the game begins, each player randomly receives 1 starting tile and places it in front of them as the start of their display. The usual placement rules apply.
Starting Tile Shapes
The card shows four starting-tile shapes. Each shape is made of four squares:
- Straight: four squares in a single row.
- L: three squares in a row with one square below the end square.
- T: three squares in a row with one square below the middle square.
- S/Z: two squares in a row, with a second row of two squares offset so that the two rows overlap by one square.
