What do Surgery and the Decon Room do with Contamination cards?

Both scan Contamination cards and remove only the Infected ones, without placing a Larva. The Decon Room scans the cards in your hand, while Surgery covers your whole deck, hand and discard pile. Both also remove a Larva from your board. Surgery's Light Wound is taken even if you have no Contamination cards.
