You need an Egg or Carcass in your possession, carried in a hand or stored on the Probe Arm, and the Probe Arm one counts. Play it after the Intruder Attack card is drawn and before it is resolved. A Carcass on the Probe Arm can also be traded or dropped as if carried in a hand.
