Where does an Intruder appear for an Encounter on the Mars Surface, and how do building noise rolls work?
On the Crossroads where the Character stands, since Characters stand only on Crossroads or Rooms, never Paths. A Noise roll inside a building applies its number to every Room in that building; a roll that hits an existing marker causes an Encounter. Noise from a Crossroads roll is placed in or removed from all connected Areas.
