Can Eggs still be added after the Nest is destroyed, and do Nest effects still happen?

Per support, yes: an Egg can still be placed in a destroyed Nest (for example when the Queen token is drawn and no one is in the Nest) and the Nest stays destroyed. Effects referring to the Nest, like Egg Protection, still resolve. A 2022 forum reply insisted the Nest cannot regenerate, but this predates the support rulings.
