Where do discarded Crafted Items go?
Back into the Crafted Item deck or pool, available to craft again. A Crafted Item cannot be crafted unless its card is available, even if you hold the components. If an effect forces you to discard a Starting Item, locked Items such as an inactive suit do not count.
