Which Chytrid pieces count as Intruders (first-appearance Objective discard, Noise rolls, Combat)?

Stinkhorns, Deathcaps and the Queen are Intruders and trigger the first-appearance Objective discard. Spores, Germinators and Mycelium are not Intruders: being in their Room is not Combat, so they do not block Room Actions, the Defense Control Room action does not target them, and you still roll Noise when entering a Room that holds only one. A melee attack on a Germinator still draws a Contamination card, and each Injury lowers its level by 1. One reply argues Spores count as Intruders.
