Game Overview
"Name It!" is a fun party game featuring adorable dogs, where memory and speed are put to the test! Identify the dog breeds, name them, and react faster than the other players to collect points. However, unexpected characters and events may turn the game upside down! Who will capture the dogs' hearts?
Goal of the Game
Quickly memorize the dogs' names and breeds, outwit the other players and collect Friendship Points. The player with the most Friendship Points at the end of the game is the winner!
Setup
- Shuffle all the cards well and place the deck in the center of the table, within reach of all players.
- Prepare the following 2 zones in front of each player: the Top Zone (for dogs you own and have named) and the Bottom Zone (for Friendship Points).
- The person who most recently petted a dog starts the game.
Playing the Game
Each turn, the player draws the top card of the deck and places it face up. Act according to the type of card:
- Dog card: The first player to correctly name the breed becomes the dog's "owner" and gives it a name.
- Named dog card: The first player to shout the dog's name scores a point.
- Owner card: The first player to shout the owner's name scores a point.
- Gruta card: The first player to put their hand on the card scores a point.
- Meow card: The slowest player loses 1 dog card.
- Gollum card: The first player to fulfil the condition of the previous card scores a point.
End of the Game
The game ends when all cards have been drawn. Count Friendship Points; the player with the most is the winner.
In case of a tie, the player with more cards in their Top Zone is the winner. If still tied, the victory is shared.
