Nidhogg – Monster Dashboard
Header
Nidhogg is a level 5 monster. The name panel shows a group of star icons and the keywords Block, Initiative and Terror. The keyword rules are not printed on the dashboard.
Stats
The dashboard shows a grid of nine rows, one per level from 9 (top) to 1 (bottom). The column headers are not printed on the dashboard, so the columns are listed here by position only. The coloured scale on the right-hand side of the grid is the level column (column 6).
| Level | Column 1 | Column 2 | Column 3 | Column 4 | Column 5 (black number) | Column 6 (level) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 9 | 8 | 8 | 1 | 2 | 5 | 9 |
| 8 | 8 | 8 | 1 | 2 | 5 | 8 |
| 7 | 7 | 8 | 0 | 2 | 5 | 7 |
| 6 | 7 | 7 |
Notes on the grid, as printed: each cell in column 5 carries a black box with the number shown, followed by a white box containing an hourglass icon. The hourglass icon also appears in the header of the "Lord of the Roots" ability. A dash (–) in column 5 means no value is printed in that cell.
Vicious Blow
(Header icon: a hand.)
(Attack icon in the body: a sword in a box, followed by an "X" in a box. Range icon: a symbol followed by "1".)
At the end of Nidhogg's activation, make an X dice, range 1 attack. The target unit cannot retaliate.
Lord of the Roots
(Header icon: an hourglass.)
Attacking unit suffers -1 defence during Nidhogg's retaliation. Any unit that wounds Nidhogg during a range 0 attack immediately loses 1 vitality point.
