Setup with Promo Cards
After selecting development cards (based on the number of players in the game), shuffle all five promo cards into the development deck. Then remove five cards at random from the development deck and place those cards back in the box without looking at them.
Promo Cards
Sergio de Lagio
At the end of the supply phase, the player can choose to pay 2 Doubloons to take one card from the market. The card he takes is replaced by the first card from the draw pile.
Buron El Catalan
Each round Buron earns as many Doubloons as the number of Conquistadores the player has, including Buron himself. (Note: Merchants are not Conquistadores)
Vicente de la Raya
Combinations of the same resource can be used to earn Doubloons instead of being used to obtain new developments. The number of Doubloons a player receives is based upon the rarity of the resource.
- Sets of common resources earn 3 Doubloons.
- Sets of uncommon resources earn 4 Doubloons.
- Sets of rare resources earn 5 Doubloons.
Estefano Guante
The player earns 3 Doubloons each time he serves as the Trade Master during the trading phase.
Comptoir Commercial (Trading Post)
At the end of the progression step receive 1 Doubloon for each Merchant and each Warehouse you have.
