Label Placement
Caution: Labels have quick-setting adhesive. Be sure of position before applying. A label cannot be lifted after setting.
- Using a clean, dry cloth, wipe the areas to which the labels are to be applied.
- Peel off the labels one at a time from the label sheet and place them on all 4 playing arms as shown.
Put in the Battery
- Lift the knob to remove the frog's tongue.
- Insert one "C" alkaline battery (not included), negative end (–) first, into the battery compartment.
- To replace the tongue, fit the tabs into the slits and snap down.
Note: the battery may leak if improperly installed. Remove the battery when the game is not used for an extended period of time.
Head Assembly
- Fit the head in place as shown. Note: the head does not snap in place.
- Flip the head over to close. Note: the mouth may be closed all the way, or partly open. Don't try to force it closed.
Playing Arm Assembly
There are two types of playing arms. Compare the arm ends on your game with the picture to see which type you have, and assemble as directed.
- Type A arm: Fit the ends of the arms into the centerpiece as shown and snap into place.
- Type B arm: Slide and fit the ends of the arms into the centerpiece as shown.
How to Turn On and Off
- There are two types of ON/OFF switches located at the base of the frog's head. Compare the switch on your game with the picture to see which type you have. Follow the arrows shown on the switch to turn the game on or off.
- Turn the switch "ON" and watch the head turn round and round as the mouth snaps open and closed.
- When you are finished playing, turn the switch to "OFF". Make sure the mouth is closed when you turn the switch off.
How to Flip the Flies
- Place a fly on the plastic hand.
- Press down on the plastic hand with your finger and let go.
- Try to flip the fly into the frog's mouth when it's open. If you press too hard the fly will flip too far. If you press too soft the fly will not flip far enough. Practice flipping flies a few times before you play a game.
Rules of the Game
- Each player selects a color, then plays with the hand and flies of the same color.
- While the frog is facing you, flip your flies (one at a time) into his mouth. If you are quick you can get two or three in his mouth each revolution.
- The first player to flip all ten of his or her flies into the frog's mouth wins the game. If a fly misses or flips out of the frog's mouth, you must flip it again. You'll have to be quick to get all of your flies in first and win!
Safety Warning
Choking hazard. Small parts. Not for children under 3 years.
