- 1 Trash can
- 1 Spinner with pointer and holder
- 4 Playing pieces
Preparation
Before the first game, remove all contents from their original boards. Fix the pointer to the spinner as shown in the illustration on the board. Put the spinner into the plastic tray. It should lay flat on it.
Goal of the game
The goal of the game is to be the first player to return to the ladder by slapping the monsters with your slime hand as often as possible. Who will be the first to reach the ladder?
Game setup
Each player chooses a slime hand and places the color-matching slime monster in front of them. You are now acting as this monster.
Lay the city monsters randomly on the table and place the trash can in the center. Make sure there is enough distance between the cards. If you only play in pairs or three's, you can also add the remaining slime monsters.
Put your playing pieces on the ladder. Once the game begins, you start from here and continue on the green slime blobs in the direction of the arrow.
How to play
The oldest player begins with play continuing in a clockwise direction. On your turn, spin the spinner and all players watch which monster the pointer lands on.
Then, at the same time, players get one chance (one "slime hand slap") to slap the monster card that corresponds to the monster the spinner landed on.
Does the arrow point to a city monster?
Everyone must quickly try to slap this monster with their slime hand. If you are the only one with your slime hand on the correct monster, you move forward two green blobs. However, if you have one or more monsters on top of your hand, you can only go one blob forward.
If you only slap a wrong monster or the trash can, nothing happens and you do not move your playing piece.
Does the arrow point to a slime monster?
a) Monster of another player
All players – except for the player of the displayed monster – try to slap it. The winner is allowed to move two blobs forward with their playing piece, but only one blob, if they have slapped additional monsters or the trash can. Slime monsters that do not belong to a player are considered city monsters.
b) Your own slime monster
If the spinner lands on your slime monster, you must attempt to slap the trash can. If you do, follow the above scoring. If your slime monster was slapped by another player and you caught the trash can, both of you can move ahead.
When you are done, reset the monsters and the trash can. Let's go to the next round!
Slime duel
Sometimes two or more players have the monster stuck on their slime hand or arm. When this happens, carefully pull until only one hand remains. Proceed to scoring as described above.
If the monster falls down, nothing happens. But sometimes this is the chance for another player who hasn't done his "slime hand slap" in this round! Then the play continues in the next round.
The end of the game
The first player to return to the ladder is the winner! There may be several winners if you all arrive at the same time!
Tips
Here are some tips:
- Please only use the slime hands as described in the game.
- It is best to play with clean hands to protect the game material. If your slime hands become dirty or dusty, clean them with lukewarm water without any additional detergent. Now they are ready to play again!
- Play on a washable surface, as the slime hands can leave residue.
- Do not slap the face, hair, textiles, wallpaper or anything else. Only use as intended in the game.
- If the slime hands stick to one another during the game, carefully separate them from each other. Do not overstretch them!
- Very important: Do not wrap it around your neck or your fingers!
