Contents

  • 1 game board (Monsterklo, the monster toilet board)
  • 1 turntable (Drehscheibe)
  • 4 monster playing pieces
  • 4 player boards (Ablagetafeln)
  • 24 monster chips
  • 1 colour die (Farbwürfel)
  • 1 symbol die (Symbolwürfel)
  • 30 Pups (fart tokens)
  • 1 plunger (Pömpel)

Setup

Take the components out of the box. Carefully punch the cut-outs out of the game board and the turntable at the holes and slits.

Place the turntable on the plastic insert. Place the game board on the turntable.

Push the handle of the plunger into the rear hole of the arrow and slide it in the direction of the arrow as far as it will go.

Place the box in the middle of the table.

Each player chooses a monster. The player board and the monster chips in the matching colour go to the player on the left. That player shuffles the chips face down and distributes them on the player board. The player then returns the finished player board to their neighbour.

Keep the two dice, the Pups and the plunger ready next to the box.

Goal

The first player to reveal the three toilet paper rolls under their monster chips wins!

The Game Begins!

The player who last farted starts! Nobody dares? Then the youngest player starts. They roll both dice.

1. What does the colour die show?

The result of the colour die shows on which toilet(s) your monster may try to get rid of a Pups.

You will find the colour on the carpet in front of each toilet. Take a Pups from the supply, place it under your monster, and slide the monster with the Pups centred onto a toilet of the matching colour.

If during the course of the game your monster still has a Pups from an earlier round, you do not need a new one and continue playing with that same Pups.

Official Monster Toilet Etiquette

Important: monsters love their toilet reading, so they like to stay a moment longer! Entering a toilet that is already "open" (through which the Pups would fall straight away) is therefore frowned upon and is not allowed in this game. In very rare cases it can happen that both toilets of the rolled colour are open. Then, unfortunately, you have to skip your turn.

Very important: pushing, on the other hand, is allowed under official monster toilet etiquette!

If you rolled the colour of a toilet that is currently occupied, you may push the monster sitting on it off and take its place with your own monster.

This also applies if there is still an unoccupied toilet in your rolled colour.

The pushed-off monster leaves the toilet, together with its Pups, and moves to the middle of the playing area.

2. What does the symbol die show?

Nothing? Then the next player is up and rolls both dice.

An arrow? Then take the plunger and push the handle through the rear hole of the arrow on the game board. Slide the plunger in the direction of the arrow as far as it will go. All the monsters prick up their ears in suspense... Psst!

Did you hear nothing? Then your monsters are not yet finished! The next player is up and rolls both dice.

Did you hear something? Then quickly look under your monsters on the toilets. The player whose Pups has disappeared places their monster in the middle of the game board and turns over one of their monster chips with the plunger. To do so, press the plunger onto a monster chip of your choice. Now you may turn the monster chip over. Place it face up on your player board.

You got toilet paper? Congratulations!

You got an empty roll? Don't be upset. You have all three rolls of toilet paper under your six monster chips. Next time you will surely have more luck!

Then the next player is up. They roll and continue the game as described above.

The Game Ends

The player who first revealed their three toilet paper rolls ends the game. They have won!

It can happen that several players reveal their last roll of toilet paper in the same round. In this case there are several winners!
